Today at school we watched a short video clip to help us really understand this habit – please check it out with your child!
As students, there are some ways we think about this:
1. Study spelling words a little each night before turning on the TV.
2. Eat your least favorite (but most healthy) part of your dinner first!
3. Do your homework before hockey practice.
4. Clean your room before you play with a friend.
Start the conversation at the dinner table tonight… how does each member of your family put first things first? How could each person do even better at this?
